Webinar: Workshop with Social Enterprises
An online meeting was held on July 16 with the participation of representatives of social enterprises.
The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the formation of a strategic vision for the development of social enterprises, the state of the action environment: the positive factors that promote the development of social enterprises in the country, as well as the challenges that hinder the more efficient functioning of social enterprises and sustainable, positive results. .
The meeting was attended by 23 participants.
The speakers of the meeting talked about the current joint project of the Social Enterprise Alliance and the Civil Society Institute, which is supported by the International Center for Non-Profit Law.
Also, the participants got acquainted with the review / research "Social Enterprises in Georgia", which was prepared within the project by Eka Datuashvili.

The participants discussed the development trends of social entrepreneurship in Georgia and the importance of the existence of a support mechanism from the state.
The workshop will be organized by the Civil Society Institute and the Alliance of Social Enterprises within the framework of the Social Enterprise Initiative in Georgia project, which is funded by the International Center for Non-Profit Law (ICNL).
