Regional Civil Society Forum

On July 9, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Hub - AbkhaziaIntercont Foundation organized "Civil Society Regional Forum 2019".

The forum was held in Ambrolauri and was attended by representatives of the civil society organizations of the region, local government, educational / public schools, business sector, youth and stakeholders.

The purpose of the forum was to:

• Promoting a culture of volunteerism, facilitating communication between volunteer recipients and volunteers. Promotion of Time Bank;
• Raising awareness of regional CSOs among the population, informing the population about their activities, implemented projects and raising trust in CSOs.

The regional forum featured volunteer competition materials from a variety of materials. The quizzes on awareness of the activities of civil society in the region were conducted.

At the end of the event the winners were revealed who were given commemorative prizes.

Mr. Guram Odisharia, writer and public figure, attended the forum as an honorary guest.
